Ken questions…

work from home?

Has anyone found LEGITIMATE work from home- typing, data processing, or editing print that pays decenat where you determine your own hours? It seems like more and more companies are going this route with hiring people, but there are so many scams out there that it’s alarming. I’m beginning to inquiry whether there is anything out there. I mean if so…. why wouldn’t everyone doing this? I over analyze everything all the time, so I would research anything as much as possible, but would like a head start and referral from someone who may be is already in the process of doing something like this from home and is really being compensated for their work the way promised, and no fees to get started. I am a stay at home mom and looking for extra returns as my second child will be here in about 2 mos. and be able to continue working from home.I am college educated and have a excellent work history. Thanks in advance for any and all help.NO interest in party plot company/preside over selling or mlms

swancky answers:

Start selling your unwanted stuff on ebay. When you get the hang of it you can offer to sell other people’s unwanted stuff on ebay.
All you need from them is what they would want to get for it, (when you are excellent you will tell them what they will get for it) take a photo of it then when it sells, go there, pay them the money keeping your cut then post the item off.

A the bb that’s me!

swancky answers:

Having been in your situation a small while back I looked into a LOT of programs, some of which were scams (a excellent many), some of which paid but not enough to make it worth your time, and a very few that really worked.

Be wary of programs that want you to pay a large start-up fee. Read thoroughly their terms of service and make sure they are going to be offering you a service worth that fee.

In resources I will list a few of the companies that I’ve found to really pay worth the time I place into them, they are paying for reading e-mails (or clicking through at least).

Keep in mind that not every program will work for you and be selective. Track the results you get from each program.

Excellent luck finding the one(s) that facility best for you!

Your Questions About Seo Leads To

Posted By: swancky on May 18, 2012 at 5:00 am

Carol questions…

SEO: How Much To Charge For Blog Comments & Link Building?

Hello,

I’ve had past and new clients asking me for blog comments. My job is to search for blogs that relate to their theme, read the tales and comment on them. My comments are to include a link to the clients website. But, as you all know NOT all blogs will accept your comment. Some blog owners despise the fact that your title tag takes visitors to your website. This leads me to question you all, what is a honest price for leaving blog comments for link building?

Plot A:

30 Comments per website (spread over a period of 30 days. This way your link building looks nature).
$50 setup fee- Non-Refundable! (this is for my time of searching for blogs, reading tales and leaving my comments)
$1.50 for each approved comment.

Plot B

60 Comments per website(spread over 60 days).

$75.00 setup fee-Non-Refundable
$1.50 per each approved comment

Plot C

$50 setup fee per month-Non-Refundable (30 comments per month)
$1.50 per month

Any suggestions? I do need to be paid for my time and try. Your suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you.

swancky answers:

Your aptly to charge for this service but persons prices are WAY to high!

There are SEO firms that offer this service to their customers, which is also done manually and spread out to look more natural. I know this because I work for one part-time. This service is usually existing at $0.24 per blog comment. Of course, at least 40 comments have to be bought.

Also, no setup fee is EVER charged. And I wouldn’t offer Plot C, a per month basis, if you are just offering this service alone because I reckon you will get overrun if you start to get too many clients.

Go to the website at the bottom to get an thought of how much they charge for their services and what else they offer and you’ll be on the aptly track.

Betty questions…

How does one improve web-site traffic by spending the least amount of money?

Adwords is expensive, e-mail blasts lead to spam, poster campaign is flakey, sms blast has high drop rate, SEO is a excellent option, but too competitive….building community is one excellent thought…how does one go about it? Any more thoughts? How did Craigs List do it?

swancky answers:

Craigslist did it by offering a service a huge number of people really need and want. Word of mouth helped spread the word about Craigslist

If you want the least expense, the best way to improve site traffic is to make the best content you can with the best products you can maybe offer. Your content is your best advertisement – if visitors like your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.

Start with fantastic content — that’s the VERY BASIC. With unique and make content,

- people will spread the word to others about your website
- people will place your site in social bookmarking sites such as Digg
- you can get top natural search engine rankings without you spending for pay per click

Otherwise, there are other ways you can help jumpstart traffic to your site

1. Make it simple for users to urge your site. Viral marketing is very vital — and simple to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Urge this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to persons who urge the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more – that’s bonus traffic that you get for FREE!

Urge Site Scripts (various) http://php.resourceindex.com/Complete_Scripts/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
Huge Nose Bird Urge this Site http://bignosebird.com/carchive/birdcast.shtml
CGI Resource Index http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Website_Promotion/Recommend_Site/
Hostscripts http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Site_Recommendation/index.html

2. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a huge source of traffic. The key is to make the best content in your niche. If you have excellent content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.

If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com’s “Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day.” http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm

3. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as $650 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back associations to your website without carriage each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

4. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 associations from a single article. The more associations you have, the superior your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Here is a comprehensive list of where to submit your articles http://answers.yahoo.com/inquiry/;_ylt=AhzreGmnCUicOoyedqypscUjzKIX?qid=1006022407481

Mandy questions…

What is SEO for Firefox Measuring?

The edit function in the toolbar hasn’t appeared, so I’m asking this inquiry again with bonus details.
What is SEO for Firefox Measuring?
I’ve been by SEO for Firefox for a marketing assignment, but I’ve having some distress understanding what some of the things that it’s measuring really mean and I can’t find any resources on the subject. Specifically I need to know about “Traffic Value” and “Twitter”. I’m guessing that they’re rankings, but I just can’t figure what they mean. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks,
Tom

The button for SEO for Firefox has a drop down menu, in that drop down menu there is an option called “Lookup This Page”. Selecting that option brings up a box entitled SEO for Firefox – Site Information.
The box is made up of two columns (with no visible divider), on the aptly side there are various bits of data, on the left side is what they are called.
There are two bits of data which I want to know about. One is called “Traffic Value”, the other is called “Twitter”
What I want to know is what they are really measuring, it is not clear to me what these numbers are meant to be representing.

I can double click it to see the source of the entry, but that hasn’t lead to an explanation of what exactly this data measuring, which is what I’m asking.

swancky answers:

Firefox Browser add-ons such as SEO for Firefox from SEOBook and the SEO Quake toolbar. These both show the PR of the website in the SERPs below the result. These are helpful when digging around but they don’t really offer anything higher than and beyond the Google TBPR and PaRaMeter. Don’t get me incorrect I am a huge fan of the SEOBook tools and encourage anyone to download these and try them out, but only helpful in circumstances where you want to know the PR of a site before visiting.

Thomas questions…

inquiry about SEO for website?

I want to make an online boater exam course. There are currently 2-3 online courses (you have to be approved by a national association) which offer a course chief to a boating safety certificate in the 42 states which offer one. The material is straightforward and there is not much difference between the courses; I have a uncommon approach to incorrect answers and review of material which will make me competitive, but not superior; to the others. My inquiry is this: I don’t know how the other sites (found by Googling boat exam or boat course) advertise or do SEO, and I need to know what I would have to do with either SEO or a “sponsored site” to get my site on the first page. (There isn’t any affordable way of advertising off the Internet.) Also I need to know the probable cost per month of such SEO or “sponsored site” or other Internet advertising.

swancky answers:

I reckon you need to get your quiz accredited or accepted by the national assocations first. Once you can do that, then worry about the SEO expenditure. I don’t presume the SEO would be that hard, as it’s not competitive (2-3 competitors for a google listing with 10 results means automatic traffic)

Your Questions About Direct Mailing Marketing Ideas

Posted By: swancky on May 17, 2012 at 5:00 am

Lizzie questions…

What does a marketing manager or PR manager position pay in Australia? ?

Hi guys, My boyfriend and I are considering emigrating to Australia next year and so I’m scoping out salaries for both of our jobs. I am a PR & Insight manager with 4 being experience in preside over mail, brand management and PR and comms.
My boyfriend is a panel beater with about 14 being experience.
Any thoughts? Plus does anyone know if these are hard to get into once over there?
Thanks in advance

swancky answers:

Hi ya – of course your exact level of pay will depend on which city you choose to call home…

… But according to 32 recently entered ‘marketing manager’ salaries in the free Australian salary comparison site – LiveSalary – (http://www.livesalary.com.au/search-salaries.aspx) the norm base salary is $73,500, and the norm total salary package is $89,652.

Hope that helps,

Linda questions…

Does anyone use preside over mail or postcards to advertise his/her business?

I’ve been told to use this kind of e marketing tool but have no thought how it operates..please let me know your insights/success tales..and pls say if you’re by this tool.

thanks

swancky answers:

Visit www.realestategrowth.com, www.realtychat.com, and www.brokeragentnews.com, fantastic resources for any realtor or adviser, I personally urge the proquest logic by the side of with the Mike Ferry (www.mikeferry.com) logic for making a lucrative business in real estate.

Nancy questions…

trade magazine?

In several books I have read on preside over marketing/mail order. They say you can find items to sell in trade magazines. What is a trade magazine? Can you name me a trade magazine? I have questioned libraries and book stores and they have no thought what that means.

swancky answers:

Most industries have associations and most associations publish industry trade magazines. Eg. Furniture Now for the furniture industry; Units for the Apartment Management Industry and many publish on line versions. Look for associations and contact them to see what trade journals they urge. Question at the store if they have any industry or association journals. That might help them locate them but usually these are not kept at libraries. You can look them up online once you know the association or industry.

Susan questions…

How should I word this?

At an interview, my potentially future employer indicated a few problems that are facing their nonprofit organization. With asking a job coach, I was advised to offer explanation in my follow-up letter as to how I would be an asset to each sticky come forth. One of the come forth is how to increase the mailing lists for the continuing education program focused on working healthcare professions in the gariatric area.

The problem is, I have thoughts but they require more information and/or brainstorming with them. I want to get this letter mailed off tonight, and I don’t know how to word it other than, “With my educational background in communications, experience in nonprofit promotions, and knowledge of utilizing preside over and online marketing, I am in no doubt that we would be able to renovate a marketing plot to generate a better outreach through a larger mailing list to continue the educational programs and mission of .”
My job coach is busy in anticipation of next week, so she’s out of the inquiry aptly now.

swancky answers:

Instead of cramming all of that information in a statement that is bloated and confusing, reckon of what you are TRYING to say and just SAY it.

Instead of:

“With my educational background in communications, experience in nonprofit promotions, and knowledge of utilizing preside over and online marketing, I am in no doubt that we would be able to renovate a marketing plot to generate a better outreach through a larger mailing list to continue the educational programs and mission of .”

Say:

“I am able to renovate a marketing plot that would generate a larger mailing list for the continuing education program.”

Steven questions…

Should I quit my job to spend more time with Husband and Kids?

Hi Guys,

It has been a very tough year for my family, My Husband and I have had major problems (we are back on track now), my Mum died from Cancer with I nursed her for 12mths and I lost a baby.

We are receiving inheritance soon (in the next few weeks) and it will allow us to pay off all of our debts and not have to stress about money. My Husband will still have to work.

I work at nights packing shelves at my local supermarket from 7pm – 11pm, my Husband facility during the day so we dont see much of each other and my kids hardly ever have us together.

My Daughter 4yr and my Son 2yr have had a tough year with me being very stressed etc and I really need to make them and my family my focus.

The extra money I earn is excellent for our family but it is not de rigueur we can carry on on my Husbands returns quite easily.

We are going to pack everything up at the end of Oct and will be heading around Australia for 12mths.

My inquiry is should I stay at work for the next two months or should I quit and spend the time with my family plotting our trip (with me working there is no time for my Husband and I to do this together and I will end up plotting it all, and its not just my trip lol). I marvel about spending every night building my family back up and spending all of my time with them. I miss them so much when i am at work.

My day looks like this –
6am – kids wake up Hubby gets ready for work
7am – Hubby leaves
6.30pm Hubby gets home
7.45pm I leave for work
11.15pm I get home – Hubby already alseep
12.00am – I got to bed
6am – up again

So as you can see I have no time with my family or time for myself.

All opinions greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Medinacub – you made me weep – so well written, lovely way to place it…
Sorry i meant to say I leave for work at 6.45pm, so I only see my husband for 15mins before I go to work, my kids have Mum and Dad together for only 15mins a day, and when I work weekends I start earlier so I do not get to have dinner with them etc either. I miss them….

swancky answers:

Tell me something….who are you working for? You? Your kids? Your kids, aptly? You want to provide for them, you want to take care of them. How can you do that if you’re not even there? Quit your job and be with them, teach them excellent morals etc.

I’m SEVENTEEN being ancient and I may maybe tell you aptly now that in 10 yrs time, your kids won’t remember the money or the things you got them, they’ll remember the fact that you weren’t there to tuck them into bed, to hug them when they were frightened, to teach them and to like them

Quit your job

Mandy questions…

Zero Tolerance – seriously mate, I look with them all day and then I go to work when my Husband gets home, he looks with them when I am at work, they is always a parent with them at all times….
imawanda- that is really sad that you point out to look at life that way, maybe you should try nursing someone with terminal cancer for 12mths every single day and it will show you what is vital in life, if you would be sick of your family then there is something incorrect. I live in Australia mate and I can tell you traveling this land for 12mths will be nothing small of incredible. So sad for you….

swancky answers:

Just quit the supermarket thing now while u can. I worked in a supermarket as a manager for ten being and this is what i can tell you.
Aptly now it is excellent for you to leave. Financially u can.
If u stay , something else will come up that u will have to pay for and u will be stuck in that place forever. You wont be able to fulfuill your goal of bring your family back up.
Leave now, so u can focus on what u want. I only stayed at the supermarket for ten being simpy becausei was waiting for my long service. Then i got the hell outta there.
Family is more imortant than anything else. Just do it. You will be more pleased and so will your family. You will see an instant reaction. It will be a positive one.

Ruth questions…

Do you reckon it’s aptly that I still have to pay child support to my ex now that she remarried a wealthy man?

She cheated on me when she was pregnant, 6 months with my child was born, and then I caught her cheating again (with her now husband) when my child was 13 months ancient. He was also married too with a 10 month ancient when they were cheating. She kicked me out of our home and he sent his wife packing as well. While I worked over seas she spent every dime of the money I earned, didn’t pay the bills so I lost everything I had. 4 homes, 2 boats, savings etc. I even quit my excellent paying job to stay home at her request for more attention. Now I can hardly make a living for lack of descent wages. Her new husband makes over $750,00.00 per year ($62,500.00 per month or $360.58 per hour), she does not work or financially support our daughter at all. I make $31,200 per year ($2,600 per month or $15.00 per hour). Every dime I send to their home does not improve my daughters lifestyle. Every dime full from my home declines my daughters lifestyle or my ability to provide even the most essential necessities. Her new husband even wants me to buy the school clothes for their home (I still have to buy my own for my home) as well as an extra $75.00 per week for lunches when my ex watches our own daughter while I work. They have over $500,000 in cars as well as their own airplane to glide them around the country. They spent more on their backyard last year then I will make in the next 5 being of full time work at my current wage. I believe in supporting my child but this in this case it’s only hurting my ability to provide for her and I am worried she will reckon less of me for not being able to have a home at my place that’s even remotely similar to her other home. I believe in child support but I firmly believe that the judge should look at ALL circumstances and that in rare extreme cases where it is not in the child’s best interest that modifications need to be made.

swancky answers:

From a Legal stand point, yes this is aptly. But why dont you talk to your lawyer or take it to a judge and tell them every circumstance and maybe they will waver it (i doubt it) but at the least maybe they can lower the monthly support you have to pay.

My experience: (well my step dads)
he and my mom got married he had 3 kids from his ex and my mom had us three. He made around 700-800 a week thats supporting three kids (my moms) and 2 of his nephews. He had to pay the ex $300 per child a month ($900) and he took care of them most of the time. This left our family with nothing. But the legal logic does not care. They dont care about what circumstances you have they just want to know that you are supporting the child you have thats it.

The best thing you can do is take it to your lawyer or a judge.

John questions…

Should i quit my job at KFC? serious answers please?

Ive been contemplating leaving KFC for a honest few months now and ive recently been gathering opinions from family, friends and even strangers so i can make a choice. I joined KFC when i was 14 and 9 months in September 2007 and i have worked for them for 2 being averaging 4 shifts a week including during school days because they needed people. Im on the rise sick of going to work and constantly ration customers, packing oily food, cleaning mouldy tiles, stocking boxes of drinks into the frige. this is just the basic things we do there and i suppose with two being of it im just getting sick of doing the same work and i want to search for something new. i dont seem to care about my job anymore. that includes who i speak with customers, how nicely i pack their food, how friendly i am when i handle complaints. i believe that when a job no longer means anything to you anymore, its time to leave. but there are several factors which have been keeping me there all these months and this is predominantly my friends. for the past 2 being, ive been in such a familiar workplace where every face i know is basically a friend and i can freely say what i want to them and they just wont care. i have many friends at KFC and i often go out with them during holidays or weekends when we can all make time. i estimate i feel worried to leave a place i am so used to and being introduced to a new environment where i will have to adapt is not what im with. i am not a self of change.
i also do occasionally have a excellent time while im there and the new place im thinking of applying for (a juice bar which mainly hires upbeat and energetic teens) will make me nervous as i will be around a lot of people my age. most of the people at kfc are older (around19-20 yr ancient indians) and i just feel i can speak to them about whatever i want without being judged much simpler than with fellow australian teens. the few teenagers that do work with me are all very close friends of mine also though. i know i shouldnt judge another place before ive tried it for myself. i know this may signal ridiculous, but i am also wanting to be around more boys my age as i attend an all girls school and a job would be one of few places where i may maybe meet them since it is hard otherwise. i dont party, drink or go clubbing so i rely on extra curricular things to get myself socialised. im not taking music lessons or whatever outside of school and im in year 11 which is one of the two most vital being of my high school life and i dont reckon involving myself aptly now would be the best thought. i would certainly miss a lot of people at KFC but i have experienced not seeing them for months before and i know i eventually get used to it and go on. the main reason i want to leave is just i dont care about the job anymore, i dont delight in the work i do and i never have but ive tolerated it for the money and its location at being so close to my house (5min walk). the pay is quite decent $9.60 an hour at 16 yrs and the environment i work in is quite laid back and not austere. i am a self who feels guilty if i go to school and dont do research, who goes to a store and doesnt study or read and who goes to work and doesnt work hard. i know it must be a marvel for others to get paid and not work but i want to earn my money for the hardwork i do and when the store gets busy with customers which is quite often, thats when i work toughest. in addition, i always come home smelling like oil and oil and although i wash my standardized thoroughly, the stench of oil is quite hard to get rid of, especially in the pants. 2 of my friends are also plotting to apply for the BOOST juice bar and i would be so pleased to work with my friends if i may maybe. at least i would come home smelling like fruit and the store is also 5min walk from my house. also my brother stated that having BOOST juice bars on my resume instead of KFC would look far better and increase my chances of getting the jobs i want in the future due to the reputations. if i was to leave, i would feel i couldnt show my face in the store again as the managers and team members may reckon i ditched them and i wouldnt have strong arguments to give explanation for my decisions besides i was sick of the job, which is quite a poor excuse even though its extremely right. during the 43 point heatwave across melbourne, our stores a/c was broken (and has been for being) and i was sweating so much customers started complaining of being serviced by such a sweaty self. this happens every summer which is in the holidays so i work even more frequently and working in the heat in leather shoes and black pants is not the best way to spend a hot summer day. i am currently working 2 shifts a week and desperately need a job that pays well for that amount of time as i have a stackload of research to complete and cannot spend my time cooking greasy chicken.
please give me your personal opinion
please place aside all controversies surrounding kfc’s behavior of chick
omg i am so sorry it was so long
i didnt realise
also one more thing
i know this sounds obtuse but i have gottens o much fatter since i joined kfc. 5kg probs
i know its all about self control but when i have no money and the food is free, i have no choice unless i want to starve the night. boost also allows u a free drink with work so i would certainly be shaping up my diet a bit

swancky answers:

I reckon that you should try out working at Boost first for a while and keep the KFC job- but only to choose which is better for you. Then if you like Boost, you can continue working there and if you don’t, well hey, you still have the KFC job.

Excellent luck!

Thomas questions…

How is oil bought & sold on the world market?

For example, I get the impression that an Exxon doesn’t simply buy oil directly from Saudi Arabia, but that instead, there are speculating middlemen who intercede by the side of the way, and evidently are able themselves to affect the ultimate price to oil companies, and so, to consumers. Who are these middlemen in the oil transaction, how much impact do they exert on prices, and why do they have to exist in the first place (i.e., why can’t an Exxon simply “buy preside over” from Saudi Arabia, and cut these speculators out of the deal when all’s said and done?

swancky answers:

Most of the oil bought by refiners and compound companies is in fact bought directly from producers under long-term contracts. But, since most of this oil is shipped intercontinentally by tankers, scheduling problems arise all the time. Refineries and compound plants depend on steady inflow of oil, but deliveries may be disrupted by ocean storms, delays in ports, etc. So quite often, the buyers need to buy a few days’ worth of oil to keep a particular refinery in commission next week, because the oil that it was supposed to use next week is currently on the tanker in the middle of Atlantic, rather than in the port. When that oil finally shows up, the buyer has no use for it and needs to sell it to prevent its storage facilities from overfilling. So the speculative market plays a helpful role, providing an outlet where buyers can buy holdovers or sell leftovers…

Donald questions…

what type of fusion is walmart?

1)Horizontal mergers: The consolidation of firms that are preside over rivals–i.e. firms that sell substitutable products or services within the same geographic market.

2)Vertical Mergers: The consolidation of firms that have potential or real buyer-seller relationships.

3)Business Mergers: Consolidated firms may share marketing and distribution channels and perhaps manufacture processes; or they may be wholly unrelated.

4)Congeneric mergers occur where two merging firms are in the same general industry, but they have no mutual buyer/customer or supplier relationship, such as a fusion between a bank and a leasing company. Example: Prudential’s acquisition of Bache & Company.

Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_are_the_three_types_of_mergers#ixzz1JAyvomkd

swancky answers:

Wall-mart is not a fusion. Most of the progression occurred internally.

Your Questions About Make Money Now Paypal

Posted By: swancky on May 14, 2012 at 5:00 am

Chris questions…

What is the best way to make money in Paypal now that I am, at last, a verified member?

I’m now excited and pleased because my Paypal account just got verified. Now, I want to maximize it and utilize it, get the more out of it. Can you please tell me what are the best and legal way to make money on my Paypal?

I prefer no capital involved returns generating business. Can anyone urge? Thank you so much people for helping me out here.

swancky answers:

You can use paypal to sell electronically delivered content.
For me the best source of returns has been the content since on the internet, content is the king and you can make excellent money selling article packages. There is a excellent package below you can resell it, as it comes with full rights or you can sell individual articles or packages. Or you can use the content to make content rich sites and bogs for adsense money.

Mark questions…

I added my Paypal account with my banking account. I’m on this website where you make money and the website

sends the money straight to Paypal. Now that I have Paypal with my bank account. Will the funds go into my bank account?

swancky answers:

Theyll get sent to your paypal account then you can transfer them into your bank account if you want…that’ll take 3-4 days to transfer

John questions…

I HAVE GOT A PAYPAL ACCOUNT NOW HOW CAN I MAKE MONEY ONLINE WITH IT?

swancky answers:

I saw a excellent article the other day on thesecretbargain.com showing how you can buy items for up to 95% off. My thought is to buy these items and resell them on Ebay by a Paypal account. Even if I sell them for 50% off their retail I’m still making a huge profit.

Lisa questions…

How do I make more money via PayPal?

Well the sites cashlagoon and greedyclicks banned me. I’m doing cashle aptly now, but it is not making me enough money.

I am also selling e-books but no one is buying them. :(

Cashcrate is garbage, they don’t pay by paypal and still trying to get a payment from them from sept. 08

Help please I have a unverified paypal account.

NEED $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
JAMES CHECK MY NEW QUESTION I AM CONFUSED

swancky answers:

Most of the sites (if not all of them) that make you reckon you’re going to make money by clicking on stuff or other things like that are a waste of your time.

To make money via paypal you have to offer something of value that someone would want. If your ebooks have merit, they need to be marketed so that likely buyers will become aware of them.

Best of luck.

Donna questions…

Yo what’s up with Ebay making Paypal mandatory now instead of cash, money order, check, etc?

Is that legal now that they own paypal

swancky answers:

It’s for the seller’s protection.

Simpler to “spoof” money orders, etc. With Paypal if you have a tracking number, you can protect yourself from scammers that try to say they “never’ received it..when they did and do a charge back.

EBay has a lot of screwed up rules, that is the ONLY one that makes sense.

Thank you.

swancky answers:

Steven questions…

Is your amount of personal frankness in preside over proportion to how many choices you have?

And are your choices limited in some regards by how much money you have?
Would this mean that the wealthy are more free than the poor since they have more options in life?
Would this mean that the poor are imprisoning themselves into slavery to the rich with ignorance and spendthrift(not saving money)? Do the rich propagate this ignorance and spendthrift with poor public education and materialistic propaganda marketing? Is the solution to this better public education, fewer credit cards and rapacious lending?

swancky answers:

Your inquiry about choice and frankness is a philosophical inquiry, but your elaboration of this inquiry is strongly directed towards a problem you perceive with economic stratification. In order to get any clear answers, I believe we must distinguish the issues at hand and address each in turn.

It appears intuitive that frankness is dependent on the number of choices available. But what’s vital here is not the number of possible choices, but the number of choices perceived to be possible. With all, we would not pick a choice we do not perceive to be possible. If I’m a vegetarian, then I deny myself the choice of ordering meat at a restaurant. If I do this long enough, I may not even consider meat as a possible choice, so I have effectively reduced my frankness.

The number of perceived possible choices is often much smaller than the number of possible choices. So while wealth is a very vital factor in the number of possible choices, it is only one factor among many when we consider the number of perceived possible choices. Let’s say I’m a billionaire, then I can probably eat at any restaurant in the world, but I wouldn’t consider going to all of them. For example, I might never consider going into a McDonald’s. For many less wealthy people, McDonald’s IS an option, so in this case they have more frankness than the hypothetical billionaire.

A closely related but distinct come forth is the value of choices. Let’s agree that personal frankness is valuable, and as far as choices contribute to our frankness, choices are valuable. But they are not all of equal value. For example, say John has the choice of 5 uncommon types of fruits to eat, and Jenny has the choice of 3 uncommon types of fruits to eat. Does this mean that John has more frankness? Suppose John’s 5 choices are 5 uncommon types of apples, and Jenny’s 3 choices are apples, oranges, and peaches. I reckon most people would agree that Jenny has more choices, even with the numerical disadvantage. This example shows that while related to the number of choices, frankness is not in preside over proportion with the number of choices. A billionaire may have thousands of wines available to him, but he may not be able to distinguish them at all, whereas a poor wine-maker may delight in a much richer range of experiences with only 5 wines in his cellar.

I would imagine that the most significant factors in one’s perceived choices are one’s intellect and open-mindedness. In this respect, better public education should help. But, I hope the higher than discussion shows that the connection between wealth and frankness is tenuous and indirect. It is certainly not enough to pinpoint economic stratification as the central problem limiting human frankness.

Sandra questions…

6 days ago (Tiebreaker)

swancky answers:

G’day sweety n,

Wow, you’re business sounds fantastic, but excellent advice is well worth paying for!

Our company has hired in the past and present; one full time business consultant, one business planner, one accountant, one google/internet search optimiser, a transportation firm and get generally free advise from businesses, that has help set-up our company and have plans to hire another accountant and maybe a financial planner.

Why?

Expert advice is normally worthwhile, especially if you’re paying for it. Unless you have friends that are in a business, you need to pay some excellent advisory firm (depending on the type of advice you need to help you out.

Since, marketing is not one of our company’s key strengths; my free advice is based on why we hired persons businesses to help our company by the side of:

Business Planner – To see through a second set of professional eyes our plans, formatted in a logical sequence to be presentable for banks and our investors
Business Consultant – To get a second professional opinion and to get advice on marketing also for fixed company shape checks
Accountant – To double check our book keeping, to also get advice on the up-dates in running a company, share/bonus management and corporate issues
Google/internet search optimiser – To get our new launched product climbing the search directory scale.
Financial Planner – Financial shape checks and to ensure our goals can be achieved financial and with minimal risks to the company, our investors and our employees.

Free advice:

As for promoting your business, as one of the consultants has informed us, “if you consider starting a business you need two times set-up cost to advertise the business”.

Partner with a business; Lets say you partner with a local garage. E.g. Every time their customers get a car service there, they are eligible for discount at your business and vice-versa.

Run a competition: e.g. A colouring competition for kids and the winners receives a coupon at the local lolly store. The flyer may maybe be an outline of one of your products.

Local Schools: Question a local school for permission to give a speech on the importance of alarm logic, demonstrate some and then give out some information packs for them to take home to their parents or guardians and/or some colouring sheets (without prizes).

Sponsor a charity or sports club: Rig up their hall or sporting facility with some of your product in exchange for advertising space on a prominent place in their area, e.g. The front gate of the sporting grounds. Again question to fit in a demonstration of your product somehow.

Approach a radio or other media firm to bed in your products, in exchange for advertising space!

All, I can suggest is really push to get your product out there! Unless your product is unique or your part of a huge franchise, you’ll may have a bit of a struggle to get your business there!

Word of mouth is the best form, as you get more and more customers, ensure you work on that aspect of your business, it may maybe go a very long way!

Have fun!
